Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Daily Market School collects, how we use it, and the third-party services that help us deliver our courses, dashboards, payments, and community.

This page is provided for general platform transparency and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before launch.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (such as when you register, subscribe, or contact us) and information generated as you use the Platform (such as access logs and course activity).

2. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your full name, email address, and phone number. This information identifies you as a student and may be shown on protected video watermarks.

3. Payment and Billing Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Stripe provides us with billing-related metadata such as subscription status, plan, invoice history, and customer ID needed to operate your access.

4. Course Activity and Access Data

We store data related to your enrollments, plan, access type (monthly, yearly, bundle, manual, legacy, or lifetime), and basic usage signals so we can deliver and support your course access.

5. Discord Connection Data

If you connect your Discord account for community access, we may store your Discord ID and related linkage data so we can grant or revoke community access based on your paid access status.

6. Demo Class Registration Data

When you register for a demo class, we collect your name, email, phone, course interest, and source. This information is used to contact you about the demo and related educational offers.

7. Video Watermark Data

To deter unauthorized sharing, our video player may display a dynamic watermark using your name, email, and phone number. This watermark is rendered on playback and helps us investigate content leaks.

8. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the Platform, deliver courses, manage subscriptions and access, communicate updates, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve our offerings.

9. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate Daily Market School (see below) or where required by law.

10. Payment Processors and Service Providers

We use the following service providers, each subject to its own privacy practices:

  • Stripe - payment processing, subscriptions, and billing portal.
  • Supabase - authentication, database, and account/access storage.
  • Discord - community access and role management.
  • Gumlet / VdoCipher (or similar secure video provider) - encrypted video hosting and watermarking.
  • Email service provider - transactional and educational email communication.

11. Data Storage and Security

Account and access data is stored in Supabase. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

12. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

13. Email Communications

We may send you transactional emails (account, billing, course access) and educational updates related to your enrollment. You may unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.

14. Student Rights and Access Requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support. Some data may be retained as required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

15. Data Retention

We retain account, billing, and access data for as long as needed to provide the Platform and meet legal and accounting obligations.

16. International / Third-Party Processing

Some of our service providers process data outside Canada. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws.

17. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

18. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
